How can I buy an airline ticket?
You can make a reservations at the ticket counter, online, through travel agents, or by calling the airlines' toll free phone reservation numbers. Please note that most airlines do not accept cash payment at the ticketing counter.

- Unattended vehicles on terminal roadways will be ticketed and towed without warning according to federal guidelines.
- Only ticketed passengers are permitted through the security checkpoint.
Passenger Drop Off
- Passengers can be dropped off curbside on the upper level. The upper level entrance leads to the ticket counters and security checkpoint.
- To escort your passenger inside, park in the hourly lot, a short walking distance to the terminal.
Passenger Pick Up
Passengers can be picked up curbside on the lower level. Use the cell phone lot to wait for passengers. Waiting curbside is not allowed. The cell phone lot is located to the right as you approach the terminal. It has a large flight status screen to view arrival times, free WiFi, and electric vehicle charging stations. It takes approximately 15 to 40 minutes to deplane and retreive luggage. Once your passenger is waiting curbside by one of the numbered columns they can call you for pick up.

To meet your passenger inside, park in the hourly lot. The lower level entrance leads to the greeting area / baggage claim.

Keep Luggage With You At All Times

What times do the airport, checkpoint, and ticket counters open?
The terminal is open 24/7. Ticket counters open at least 90 minutes prior to their first scheduled flight of the day.
The security checkpoint opens between 4-4:30am. This may vary depending on airline schedules and during peak travel periods.
What time should I arrive at the airport before my scheduled departure?
TSA recommends passengers arrive at least 90 minute early for domestic flights and at least 2 hours early for international flights. This may vary during peak travel periods. Contact the airline for the most up-to-date flight information.
What type of identification do I bring to the airport?
Passengers 18 years and older need to bring a government issued photo ID to the airport and be prepared to show it at any time. REAL ID will be required by May 7, 2025 for travel.
TSA does not require children under 18 to provide identification when traveling within the United States. Contact your airline for questions regarding their ID requirements for travelers under 18.

Do I still check in at the ticket counter if I have an e-ticket?
All passengers must attain a boarding pass before they are permitted past the security checkpoint. Boarding passes are not issued at the gate.
E-ticketed passengers must have a boarding pass before they can pass through security. Passengers can attain boarding passes at the ticket counter, at a self-serve kiosk, or online.
Some airlines at ROC participate in the mobile boarding pass program. Contact your airline to find out if they participate.
I travel with medications/diabetic syringes. Will I be able to carry this on board a plane?
Yes. Passengers with special travel needs are permitted to bring medications/syringes in carry-on bags.
Can luggage be checked-in at the curb?
No. The airlines do not offer curbside check-in for luggage.
The airlines do offer curbside assistance for passengers who require wheelchair assistance or assistance with their luggage.
The airlines offer these services through PrimeFlight Aviation. For assistance, press a wheelchair call button on the columns of the departures roadway, or pull up to the PrimeFlight Aviation booth near the center entrance of the departures roadway.
Can I obtain a gate pass to escort a ticketed passenger requiring special assistance or children flying alone?
Airlines issue gate passes per their discretion/policies. Contact your airline for gate pass inquiries. Individuals issued gate passes must have proper ID and are subject the same screening process as passengers.
How many carry-ons can I bring on board the plane?
Passengers are usually permitted to bring one carry-on and one personal item, such as a briefcase, laptop, or purse. This may vary by airline and aircraft. Contact your airline for details.
