Due to the New York State Department of Transportation Brooks Avenue Rehabilitation Project, expect possible delays entering and exiting the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport. The project impacts Brooks Avenue in the Town of Gates and the City of Rochester, Monroe County. State Route 204 provides access to the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport and connects directly to Interstate 390. A complete overview of the project can be found here:
Lower Road 8'-6" Height Restriction
Until further notice, the lower road in front of the airport terminal building will have an 8'-6" height restriction due to ongoing construction. For vehicles exceeding 8'-6", the Bus/Commercial Vehicle Roadway or the Upper A Roadway in front of the terminal building is required.
